The establishment of educational endowment fund is a prime achievement of the Government of the Punjab. The students passing SSC and HSSC exams with distinction from government schools are given hefty scholarships to aid them in continuation and pursuit of further education.
PEC Exam beneficiary include 5th and 8th class position holders whereas the Merit Scholarship conferred by the department @ 400/- per month for 5 class and 600/- per month for 8 class to a specific number of topper students.
